Open from breakfast until late in the evening, Le Grand Salon is the social hub of the hotel. The interior is fresh and smart with the building’s original architecture, 14-metre high ceilings and hand-painted frescos evoking a grand ambiance. Additional design touches include a large brass bar, bespoke hand carved wool rugs, sofas coloured glass tabletops and a mix of contemporary and vintage furniture.

Below the ceiling there are two monumental chandeliers, creating a jewel box-style lighting scheme that bathes the space in a romantic glow.

  • Saturday: 11:00 am to midnight
